GVISION MARCHES IN THE EUROPEAN VERTICAL
SYSTEM INTEGRATION MARKET
GVision is one of the few highly focused
manufacturers, who has been concentrated all its efforts
on LCD monitors featuring outstanding performance and
address the needs of various applications. GVISION will
be exhibiting at A56 Hall 12 during CeBIT 2001 in Hanover,
a full lineup of LCD products of various screen sizes
from 10.4", 12.1", 14.1", 15", 17" to the enormous 18.1"
flat panel display.
With an expectation to strengthen the European
market in Vertical System Integration, GVision will launch
a series of LCD monitors with a flexible range of options
specially designed to meet the needs of POS (Point of
Sales),Kiosk, medical application and other vertical solutions
crossing industries. During this largest gathering of
computer exhibitors, GVision will highlight its products
by PANX, L2EX and L4BX.
GVision’s PANX uses a 10.4 inch Toshiba
LTPS (low-temperature poly-silicon) panel supporting 1024
x 768 XGA resolution. With the most sophisticated and
complicated technologies, GVision’s LTPS LCD monitor is
able to fulfill the most stringent photo image quality
requirements, which would be specifically applied in the
fields of GPS (Global Positioning System), and medical
equipment display, where a high resolution in small size
and detailed screen image is necessary.
The new launched L4BX is also provided
with an affordable price without sacrificing its quality
and performance. It serves as an entry level for the desktop
display as well as for the vertical solution market. Furthermore,
its scaling down and “multi-window display” functions
are especially designed for surveillance systems.
GVision’s strategic product marketing efforts
in smaller-screen models were very well timed and enable
it to dominate the vertical system integration market
segment. Among them, L2EX is one of the first 12 inch
LCD monitor supporting 1024x768 XGA resolution, which
would also be an ideal solution in specific display solution
market. L2EX’s flexible designs feature a wide array of
options so that it can fit right in with whatever application
it is needed for. It can be used as a space-saving, stylish
desktop monitor, or with a mountable arm, as a wall display.
The touch screen option makes it ideal for information
kiosk and similar applications, with the photo frame stand
adding stability if the touch-screen monitor is free-standing.
Other features that enhance this LCD monitor’s performance
are cable management and OSD controls
Founded in1999, GVision has the competence
to meet the client’s full satisfaction with its premium
quality products, professionalism, and global logistics
service system. In order to be more efficient, GVISION
has also established assembly lines in the USA, and Europe.
The prominent reasons for the front-end assembly lines
are the advantages of providing clients more flexibility
in inventory, cash flow management and shipment cost reduction.
Further expansion of its current situation in Europe is
also planned by GVision owing to the belief that Japanese
and European markets are seen as the most important areas
for sales growth of LCD monitor. By the end of 2001 Q1,
GVision will establish a branch in Germany in the prominent
market. “ We will take the advantage of proximity to serve
our customers, which is composed of system makers, system
distributors and value-added resellers in the fields of
POS, Kiosk, medical application and other vertical SI
segments. Additionally, the strategic market efforts would
be focused on the flexibility in inventory as well as
the versatility in product in order to satisfy the various
needs of VARs in the European market” stated Simon Lo,
the president of GVision’s branch office.
GVision is currently occupied by the American
and European customers, and planning to extend market
share and create corporate identity in vertical system
integration. Based on the advantages of its pioneer experiences
and professionalism in the Vertical System Integration,
GVision will be looking at revenue from VSI market to
boost its total product revenue in the following year.
The targeted monthly capacity for 2000 is set at 10k,
while for 2001 is an 200% increase up to 30K over 2000
with a fifty percent of revenue generated from VSI market.
Providing full lineup products with flexibility of various
applications, along with her professionalism and global
logistics service system, GVision has the confidence to
surpass the competitors and to be the top three frontier
brand identified by the VSI channels.
GVision is reported to reach around 50
million US dollars in fiscal 2000. Despite this revenue
is a little bit down from the original prediction, GVision
remains confident for fiscal 2001 with a forecast revenue
of over 150 million US dollars. “ At the beginning of
next year, we are planning to expand our scale by a capital
increase up to 12 million US dollars. By the end of next
year, we will be planning to be on the list of the over
–the- counter market.” According to Victor Lai, the president
of GVision.
