1. Where do I locate the drivers
to run the LCD monitor?
KOGi LCD monitors are plug and play, meaning that they do not
require a particular software driver to operate. The first time
you connect the LCD to the computer and turn everything on, Windows
may look for a driver. It should automatically select the Windows
Plug and Play driver. This has been verified on Windows 95, 98,
2000, XP, ME and NT.
2. What does it mean when
I get an "Out of Range" error message on screen.
The setting or the refresh rate on your computer needs to be adjusted.
To do this, you will need to connect your old monitor to your computer
so you can change the appropriate settings.
After connecting your old monitor:
1) Open the Control Panel (located in the [Settings] file from the
Start menu).
2) Double click on the [Display] icon.
3) Select the [Settings] tab and adjust the [Screen Area] setting
by moving the indicator bar to the right. If you have a 12.1"
LCD, you should set it to 800x600; if you have a 14.1" or 15"
LCD, you should set it to 1024x768; if you have a 17" or 19”
LCD, you should set it to 1280x1024. After selecting the appropriate
screen area setting
4) Select the [Advanced] button located in the lower right corner,
5) Click on [Monitor] or [Adapter] tap.
6) Locate the area that the Refresh Rate can be adjusted. Select
a Refresh Rate of 72 Hz or lower.
7) Select [Apply].
8) Select [OK] to keep the settings.
9) Shut down your computer.
10) Connect your new LCD monitor to the computer while it is off.
11) Turn on the computer and LCD monitor at the same time. This
will resolve the issue.
3. What does it mean when I get green or red colors on my screen?
This is caused by one of two items:
1) The VGA cable connecting the computer to the LCD does not have
a good connection. Remove and re-attach both ends of the VGA cable,
making sure that it is screwed tightly into place.
2) Adjust the colors using the LCDs on-screen menu. This process
is outlined for you in your User's Manual that accompanied your
LCD because the process varies slightly for different models. Generally
speaking, you will bring up the on-screen menu by pressing the appropriate
button on the front of the LCD monitor, scroll to locate the color
adjustment menu (under [Contrast]), and then increase or decrease
the different color levels to meet your preferences.
4. I've connected the LCD
to my computer, but the fonts and images look fuzzy. What do I do?
Run Auto-tune from your On Screen Monitor located on your LCD monitor.
If problem is not corrected please adjust the track. If your resolution
is set to low, to adjust this:
1) Open the Control Panel (located in the [Settings] file from the
Start menu).
2) Double click on the [Display] icon.
3) Select the [Settings] tab.
4) Adjust the [Screen Area] setting by moving the indicator bar
to the right. If you have a 12.1" LCD, you should set it to
800x600; if you have a 14.1" or 15" LCD, you should set
it to 1024x768; if you have a 17" LCD, you should set it to
1280x1024.
5) Click [Apply].
6) Click [OK] to save the settings.
5. My screens flickers when
I close or open a program.
Your screen is flickering due to the refresh rate on your computer
is not set correctly to your video card settings. First option is
to run Auto-tune and Adjust track from your On Screen Monitor located
on your monitor. If problem is not corrected please adjust refresh
rate.
To adjust your refresh rate.
1) Open the Control Panel (located in the [Settings] file from the
Start menu).
2) Double click on the [Display] icon.
3) Select the [Settings] tab.
4) Select the [Advanced] button located in the lower right corner.
5) Locate the area that the Refresh Rate can be adjusted. Depending
on your operating system, it is typically located under the [Adapter]
or [Monitor] tab.
6) Select a Refresh Rate of 72 Hz or lower.
7) Select [Apply].
8) Select [OK] to keep the settings.
9) Shut down your computer.
10) Connect your new LCD monitor to the computer while it is off.
11) Turn on the computer and LCD monitor at the same time. This
will resolve this issu
6. I've split images on my
14" monitor.
Check your power cord connection, Have your monitor on with the
problem showing then unplug the power to the monitor then plug it
back.
7. I can’t use
the keys on my monitor.
Your keys might be on the lock mode. To unlock the keys power off
the unit hold down the down arrow at the same time power the unit
back on
8. How do I set all setting
back to factory setting?
Unplug your vga cable power off the unit hold the up arrow down
at the same time power the unit back on you will see a message “RESET
EPROM” power off the unit plug back your vga cable and power
back up.
This wills also most of the problem on our LCD monitors
9. What type of touch do
I have?
All our units will have a configuration # located in the back of
the units ____-__-_____-____-___-(RES) or (W/O)
RES = elo
W/O = is mostly a non touch units (please contact the place of purchase
for touch type)

11. How do I calibrate
my touch screen?
After the driver is loaded you will see a little icon on your task
bar click on the icon and this will bring up the setting. For calibration
